YNSA-Acupuncture Influence on Spinocerebellar Ataxia, Type Friedreich (F.Ataxie)

Case 11

This case deals with a 59-year old female patient who has been suffering from this seldom neurological disease for over 40 years.

Furthermore, the patient has suffered for the past 3-4 years from lumbar sciatica, right side, with radicular (root) irritation, L5 right, with spinal stenosis and disk prolapse of the lumbar vertebrae 4/5, osteoporosis with acute chronic pain down the complete spinal column, all the more so on the neck and head, as well as all four extremities. The patient submitted herself repeatedly to hospital treatment which included intensive, lengthy physical treatment methods, unfortunately without any essential signs of improvement. A definite deterioration was noticeable during the past 2-3 years. Since then the patient has been in need of a wheelchair.

Treatment Course:
After Dr.Yamamoto’s last speech in Bad Nauheim in May 1997, we decided, with the patient’s prior permission, to apply the YNSA-diagnostic and the YNSA-therapy method once per week. On hand of the noticeable positive areas (fields) of the abdomen diagnostic and neck diagnostic the Y-points and the basilary points were systematically and specifically treated each time.

The pain symptoms arising from her disk prolapse and spinal column showed improvement of nearly 70-80 %. An improvement of the spasticity came later, when somewhat slower. However, with a clear and visible success, which could be seen immediately after insertion of the acupuncture needles.

The patient’s condition has greatly improved, she no longer requires a wheelchair, whereby her daily chores can now be undertaken in a more agreeable manner than beforehand. Her life quality has thereby improved essentially.
