YNSA Influence for Treatment of Acute and Chronic Lumbago and Lumbo-Sciatica with known Prolapse of the Cervical Spine, right side

Case 18

A 64-year old female patient has suffered from chronic therapy-resistant lumbago with lumbo-sciatica symptoms for the past 8-10 years. The condition deteriorated about 10 months ago. A MRI examination showed an acute prolapse of the cervical spine (L5/S1) right side, however without bladder and intestinal paralysis.

The conservative treatment methods applied up to now, 4 weeks stay in a neurological clinic, 6 weeks in a rehabilitation center did not, unfortunately, bring the patient any relief. On the contrary, despite the expensive, intensive treatment, the complaints steadily worsened.

Findings and Treatment Course: The first examination showed a highly pain-plagued patient with a positive Laségue of 20-30 degrees and very violent pains with paresthesia in the lower extremities, right side. At the time of the first examination the patient had no feeling in 75% of her foot sole and believed that the nerves were already dead.

After precisely placed needle pricks (acupuncture) in the respective plexus area of the lumbar spine (prick technique method according to Yamamoto not yet published) and subsequent stimulation of the respective needles with a new type of microcurrent treatment (Alpha-Stim), it was possible for us to immediately influence the pain symptoms. After 2-5 minutes of treatment the signs of parasthesia disappeared.

YNSA treatment of the basis points I,G,D and kidney, right side resulted in complete normal movement without any type of pain. The treatment was carried out on a weekly basis with successful results. The patient’s condition stabilized increasingly. (see photo 296 dated 2 April 1998).
