Sensational Success of the YNSA Method in the Treatment of Dermatological Problems such as Therapy-Resistant Leg Ulcers (Wound Healing Disturbances)
Case 21

A 50-year old female patient came into the practice requesting help for her therapy resistant wound healing disturbances (ulcus cruris) from which she had been suffering for the past 1 ½ years subsequent to varicose surgery. She complains of severe pain in the wound area (see photo 235 dated 7 April 1998).

Dermatological and surgical consults and subsequent treatment were very unsatisfactory. The suggestion of a surgical colleague to deactivate a nerve in order to neutralize the pain was not acceptable to the patient. In addition, every conservative therapeutical treatment by a dermatologist did not bring any success.

Findings and Treatment Course: After examination of the bacteriological cultures and the respective antibiogramm, conventional treatment in our practice with antibiotic medication and blood circulation medication (Augmentan and Dusodril forte) showed no satisfactory results. The acute pains and disturbances remained unchanged.
We thought about this problem soundly and we asked ourselves whether we could influence this condition through the YNSA method.
During the first 3-4 weeks we tried to obtain an improvement of the wound and the pain through treatment of the basic points. And indeed we had some positive achievement to the extent that we were able to reduce the pain and the swelling. After each treatment the patient die not feel any pain for a period of around 12-18 hours. The wound started to heal steadily.
After approximately 5-6 weeks we gave thought as to whether, in addition to the basic points treatment according to Yamamoto, we could undertake a thorough stomach and neck diagnostic and treat the respective Y-points as well.

We believe namely that the disturbance (ulcus cruris) can no longer be looked upon as being a localized symptom but that of a systematic or meridian-energy problem.
The localization of this ulcer is to be found in a critical neurological area on the medial side of the ankle where the three Yin-Meridian, kidney, liver, spleen-pancreas run and cross each other.
On the basis of these thoughts we treated the patient directly 2-3 times weekly through the basic points and Y-points, according to Yamamoto, especially the Y-point kidney, spleen-pancreas, liver. The results were surprising, and showed immediate success.
A photo documentation dated 7 April 1998 shows the extent of the ulcers after 2 months of intensive treatment. On these photos one can recognize the border of the original ulcer which is approximately 3 times the present size.
On 21 April 1998 after two weeks of specific aimed treatment of the Y-points the photos 88-89 show a sensational, unbelievable reduction of the ulcer (this photo documentation has been digitally retained, in order for the date and time of the pictures to be documented).
This method in the treatment of such blood circulation problems of the lower extremities with ulcera is the first example in the history of dermatology and the acupuncture healing methods.
We hope, that with this sensational, one-time demonstrational success, we will at long last be able to wake up and shake the world of the standard medicine and get this type of alternative treatment accepted and recognized, instead of it being contemptuously looked upon down the nose.
After use of the (from Dr.Yamamoto) newly discovered paravertebral prick technique the arm movement improved immediately, and shoulder movement became looser. After the respective acupuncture needle insertion in the skull all pain disappeared immediately. In both hands the patient felt a pleasant warm feeling, and the patient became pain free.
