YNSA Influence in the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis in the left Knee and right Foot with Ankle
Case 23
A 22-year old male patient has been suffering since 2 years from a known positive rheumatic arthritis. The patient has already been seen by specialists at a university clinic and was treated thoroughly with antirheumatic medication and chemotherapeutics such as Methodrexat during the past 16 months without any visible or noticeable success. The complaints remained the same, i.e. without change. On some days his problems were more noticeable.
The patient came into our YNSA consultation hour and asked concretely whether this treatment method would be able to relieve him of his symptoms.

Findings and Treatment Course: After a thorough examination the patient was treated in accordance with the customary YSNA diagnostic on the basic Y-points. Within seconds the afflictions in the extremities disappeared. The patient experienced a clear pleasant warmth in the defective joints, and was able to walk without difficulty.
In addition, we also treated the relative points on the right ear in accordance with the Chinese ear acupuncture in order to stabilize and strengthen the success.
Two days later, at the time of the second treatment, the patient had still retained a 60% improvement even though he had taken no medication. In this early stage of the acupuncture treatment the patient believes that his symptoms can be kept better under control with these methods than with the customary medicamentous treatment with Methodrexat.
Further treatment was undertaken on the basis of two times per week during the first three weeks and afterwards once per week, with a continuous stabilizing success.
